Overview
Living in the houseboats will be such a great one while living in Kashmir. The water and the cool and gentle breeze will be welcoming you all to this paradise. For this particular tour covering Kashmir as a whole, you need 6 days and 5 nights of stay in Kashmir. You will be starting your trip from Srinagar and it will be over after you return to Kashmir.Â
You will be able to cover Srinagar, Sonamarg, Pahalgam, Gulmarg, etc. in Kashmir. You will be provided with clean, hygienic, safe, and comfortable vehicles for sightseeing. If you are coming via the airport or railway station, then the respected people will come to pick you up. Meals and other food will be provided in clean and hygienic hotels.Â
You will be going to the various markets and will be able to understand their cultures and lifestyles. You should do several adventurous activities including snow sports like snowboarding at the place called Gulmarg. Horse trip, swinging to view the scenic and panorama of the Himalayas, etc.
The Journey
On the first day, after you arrive at Srinagar.
You will be picked up by the respected people of the houseboat. They will take you to the houseboat and then you need to check in there. In the Kashmir valley, you will have to visit the Shankar Acharya Temple and seek blessings from Lord Shiva. Then you need to visit the very famous and beautiful Mughal Gardens, the Nish at Baugh, and the Shalimar Baugh as well. You also need to go to the Chashma Shahi, which is such a beautiful spring that provides mesmerizing views to the visitor’s eyes.Â
Local places in Kashmir
You can also go to the local markets of Kashmir and can do some shopping. The very famous Pashmina Shawls, beautifully carved wooden artifacts, etc. are available there, which you can buy from there. Dal Lake is yet another place that one should never miss. After all these, you can return to Srinagar to stay in the houseboat. Houseboat stay will be such a great experience for you all and they will be providing you with delicious food as well.
On day 2nd, you will be going to Sonamarg.Â
This will be such a great opportunity for you all to fly through the Golden Meadows of Kashmir. You will be provided breakfast from the houseboat and if you want you can checkout from there as you need to go to other places for exploring Kashmir. You will then be going to Sonamarg, which is such a great place that adds more beauty to Kashmir.Â
The views
The glaciers, beautiful lakes, snowy mountains of the Himalayas, etc. are making the meadows of Kashmir a paradise. To the Thajiwas glacier, you will be getting another golden opportunity for having a pony ride as well. After enjoying all these things, you can return to your place of stay. They might be providing you with dinner as well and you can stay at Srinagar, enjoying the beauty of Srinagar.
 On the 3rd day
You will be going to Pahalgam after having the breakfast that the hotel gives you. You must not miss visiting Awantipura temple, solely dedicated to Lord Vishnu. After reaching Pahalgam, you can check in to yet another stay place as per your wish, which can be a houseboat as well. Pahalgam is rich with beautiful meadows, river streams, apple orchards, etc.Â
Flora
Lots of trees like pine trees, fir trees, deodar trees, etc. seem to be ornaments which adds more beauty to Pahalgam’s Nature. You need to stay at Pahalgam during the night and the dinner will be provided by the concerned authorities of the houseboat as per their packages.
On day 4
You must go to Gulmarg from Pahalgam after having your breakfast at your place of stay. You can go to the Golf course, which is considered to be the largest one. Strawberry fields are nearby, on the way to the various valleys, streams, etc. You can take a pony ride here also. You need to stay in Gulmarg that night and have dinner from there. You need to travel to the Gondola which is considered to be the 2nd highest in the world.Â
On day 5
You will be traveling to Srinagar. After completely seeing the Gulmarg you can leave for Srinagar. You must not miss the sunset at Dal Lake. You can view it by resting inside a Shikara. You will have to stay at Srinagar from where you will be receiving your dinner as well. On the last day of your journey, you will be returning to your home with all those beautiful memories you have caught.
